A 4 hour introduction to SUSTAINABLE Kaizen and Continuous Improvement as a culture, presented by a variety of Kaas colleagues. Ideal for teams and organizations to get a practical understanding of how these principles in action might impact their world.

Expected outcomes:

The Waste Tour was designed so that our guests leave with more awareness of the 7 wastes and the impact that they have on their psychological, physical, and emotional well-being. This has the power to motivate people to go back home and look for waste within their work or home life. Some leave inspired to transform their organization to move to flow. Occasionally our guests will find despair when they leave kaas and go back into their normal life.

9:00 PST - Work vs Hobby: Why even bother with Continuous Improvement?

Tuesday
9:00 PST - Introduction of the 7 Wastes

Wednesday
9:00 PST - Our host section of the business share improvement tools
10:00 PST - Q & R with our host section

Note: Days 1 & 2 are the same every tour and Days 3 & 4 are going to be different every tour. Feel free to sign-up and attend all 4 days or just attend the last two days.

Waste Tour Theme:

Build is the section of our business that builds our high-quality furniture and aerospace parts, also known as our production team. This tour will be featuring hosts from our Build section who are excited to share what they have been learning.

Prerequisites:

None - this is a perfect event whether it is your first event with Kaas or you want a refresh
