Common Questions

What problem are you trying to solve? If you are looking for some inspiration and CI foundations, we recommend that you start with a Waste Tour. If you want to deepen your knowledge of the principles we trust and want it to become a part of who you are, we would recommend a Field Day.
If this is your first time engaging with us, we recommend that you start with the free content that we have published in the public domain such as “The Basics” and Podcasts to get to know us and see if we can help.

It is common for someone to get introduced to lean or CI and get really excited but then struggle to get their boss or management to get on board. While a lean transformation requires change from all levels of the organization, we recommend that you focus on your area of influence to become the change you want to see.
When the time is right, introducing your leadership team to our team can be an effective way to introduce them to the principles.
-
While many tour experiences focus on how awesome their organization is and how you should just apply their tools to find sustainable success, we take a different approach. We teach the principles and underlying thinking behind our tools because we know that our tools would break in your organization.

We have learned that these principles apply to every industry, not just a manufacturing. We have seen good fruit from health care, fashion design, hospitality, government agencies, and even jewelry manufacturers. When guests share their experiences of applying our training, we receive optimistic feedback of transformation occurring within teams and organizations; often with the request for more information and training.
